Pricing will vary with the amount of effort put into the sample and effort will depend on a number of factors including habitat (creek, river, lake, pond, productivity), sampling methods, mesh size, minimum numbers for subsampling, and taxonomic resolution. Turn-around-time (TAT) – there is a certain seasonality to the benthic processing business and some times of the year we are predictably busier than others (September to March). Most clients are able to plan well in advance for their projects and we are able to agree on an acceptable date for completion. If, however you have a more urgent timeline, it is possible to complete it sooner but there will be additional costs if it involves over-time hours.
