Cordillera Consulting is an independent freshwater macroinvertebrate taxonomy laboratory located in Summerland, BC. We process freshwater samples from all parts of Canada – from British Columbia to Newfoundland-Labrador and from Ontario to Inuvik. We routinely process samples for a number of protocols including EEM-Metal Mining, CABIN, IBI or we can customize our processing to suit the needs of the environment or jurisdiction your project is part of.
Cordillera Consulting is a supporter of the Taxonomic Certification Program (www.sfstcp.com) administered by the Society of Freshwater Science (SFS). This program has been designed to improve the quality of data used for biomonitoring and impact assessment. Our taxonomy staff is certified in all major Western and Eastern groups.
